With Apple and Samsung leading the way in wearable tech, a new report finds that most people are still not sure which is the most stylish wearable.
According to an analysis by research firm Strategy Analytics, which surveyed more than 1,200 consumers about smartwatches, most people thought a watch with a leather band was more fashionable than a watch without one.
But it was the Apple Watch that got the most praise.
The watch was lauded for its minimal design and simple function.
“The Apple Watch is one of the most beautiful watches you can own, and for good reason,” said Sarah McLean, a fashion editor for the Wall Street Journal.
“I’ve worn the Apple watch for weeks, and I’m still amazed by the versatility and versatility of the smartwatch.”
The most-watched watch in the survey was the Asus ZenWatch 3, which had the highest score among the top 20 watches on the list.
It scored the highest for versatility, with users wanting to wear it for longer hours of exercise, with its wireless charging capabilities.
“This watch is a bit different from others in the space, and it’s one that you can wear for extended periods of time,” said McLean.
“It’s not just for the gym or the office.”
The top-selling watch was the Samsung Gear S2, with the average purchase price of $300, which was followed by the Asus Watch S2 and Apple Watch S3.
“Samsung Gear S is a really nice watch,” said Andrew Smith, a marketing director at Gear S. “It’s got great features, great battery life, great performance, and the watch is very stylish.
You just feel good wearing it.”
While smartwares are the future, the research found that people still don’t know which is best.
The Asus Zenwatch 3 was the most popular watch in terms of price, but it scored the lowest for functionality, with only a few people asking for a wireless charging pad and an audio jack.
“Some people want to use it for long periods of period of time and want to be able to get a lot of activity out of it,” said Smith.
“That’s fine, but for the average person it’s not going to be enough.”
The Asus Watch was ranked third overall in terms in functionality and battery life.
It had a battery life of 6 hours and 15 minutes, while the AppleWatch had a 9 hour and 19 minutes.
“Most of us are just not going go for that,” said Schindler.
“We’re going to buy something that’s just really good, but you don’t have to spend a lot to be successful.”
The average user was also unsure which smartwatch was best, with people preferring the Samsung Watch over the Asus one, as well as the Applewatch.
“A lot of people like the Asus,” said Adam Hodge, a research analyst at Strategy Analytics.
“They’re a lot more comfortable wearing a smartwatch and they’re a bit more flexible.
I would definitely recommend the Asus.”
