A TV hit is still “a big deal” even though the Australian financial crisis has ended, says SpongeBob SquarePants creator and star SpongeBob.
The SpongeBob and Friends show was one of the most watched in Australia in 2012 and 2013, with more than two million viewers tuning in to catch a glimpse of the world’s biggest hero.
But after a five-year absence, the hit franchise is back, and it’s still making waves.
SpongeBob Squarepants is still airing on TV after a hiatus of more than five years.
It’s been rebranded SpongeBob Kids, which is the latest iteration of the original animated series.
It has also been renewed for a sixth season in the US, and its latest film, The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water, is due to be released on Blu-ray and DVD on August 23.
It’s all a big boost for the SpongeBob brand, says Nick Nolte, chief executive of Nickelodeon.
“This is a huge deal for us,” he told ABC News.
“There’s nothing like a SpongeBob episode to bring people back to the brand.”
It’s really a great brand for us to be able to grow the brand, to have SpongeBob, and then have a SpongeBros and a SpongeSquarks.
“It’s hard to know what’s going to happen with the reboot, but SpongeBob isn’t the only character who has a big role in the revival.
In an interview with Australian TV channel Triple M, star James Franco said he would play an unnamed character in the new series, and a second character named Bubbles was also added to the show.
In a tweet, James said he and his co-stars had been approached to play characters in the reboot and they were excited about it.”
We’re really excited about the opportunity to play a new character in SpongeBob’s universe,” he tweeted.”
He’s a real character, a real family member of the family, and he’s really cool.
“Mr Franco said that he was happy with the decision to cast the younger SpongeBob as he had been told that he would get a lot of play.”
James was the one who first told me he was going to play the older SpongeBob,” he said.”
I had no idea what I was getting into, and I’m really excited to be playing a Spongebros character in a new series.
“That was definitely the one that was really on my mind.”
A ‘bizarre’ show”The reboot has been met with mixed reactions.
Some critics have praised the show for being “bizarre” and “dramatic”, while others have complained that the show is “boring”.
It’s also been criticised for not including a female character.
The show has been renewed and is currently airing on the ABC.
